We are less than 90 miles east of Chicago, 138 miles north of Indianapolis, 215 miles southwest of Detroit and 245 miles north of Cincinnati. You have your choice of a variety of airlines, bus service and rail options.

Getting Here by Road

St. Joseph County is 10 miles south of the Michigan state line and is easily accessible from the Indiana Toll Road Interstate 80/90 as well as U.S. highways 6, 20, 31 and State Roads 2, 4, 23, 104, 331 and 933. South Bend Regional Airport is host to several rental car companies, taxi and limousine services.

By Bus

Getting Here by Bus

Greyhound offers direct bus service to Midwest destinations and connections nationwide with daily service to Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, and Toledo, Ohio.

Coach USA offers service from South Bend, Mishawaka and the University of Notre Dame campus to Midway and O'Hare airports in Chicago. Buses arrive and depart for the South Bend Airport eight times daily.

By Air

By Train

Getting Here by Train

The South Shore is an electric train line connecting the South Bend Airport - with daily trips during the weekdays and weekends - with cities throughout northwest Indiana with a final destination of downtown Chicago. Amtrak connects South Bend to major cities including Toledo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, New York, Boston and Washington D.C. via the Capitol Limited and Lake Shore Limited.
