We will devote a member of our Sales and Services team to your event who will serve on the local planning committee, coordinate hotel location, find facility location, CVB services and provide assistance wherever needed.

Visit South Bend Sports offers the following services and more:

Bid Development/Event Management

• Guide event organizer in formulating bids
• Help with management plan
• Serve as your liaison to the hospitality and management partners of South Bend/Mishawaka
• Solicit proposals for facilities
• Submit an organized bid packet in the format of your choosing

Event Publicity

• Provide insight, advice, promotional materials, targeted data and more to help you build winning presentations for boards and governing bodies, members and athletes
• Distribute event organizer's news release to area sports media
• Provide a list of phone and fax numbers of local media outlets
• Include event in upcoming events section of the Sports Commission's web site; provide link to event's site
• Feature event in Sports Commission newsletter (space permitting)

CVB Commitments

• On-site greeting and information service
• Maps and brochures
• Restaurant discount cards
• Official Welcome Address
• Welcome letters and signage
• Planned tours
• Referrals for support services include decorators, audio/visual, office, entertainment, speakers, equipment
• Conduct a post-event room pick up survey and report

Volunteer Recruitment

• Will help event organizers recruit volunteers by sending information to the database, via electronic mail or regular mail (printing & postage at the event's expense.)
• Posting information in volunteer section of the Sports Commission's web site as well as providing a link to event's web site
• Sending information to Sports Commission members and friends

Sponsorship Opportunities

• Help you identify potential sponsors for your event – and then make the connections that can lead to mutually beneficial relationships
