Easter is Sunday, April 9 this year and many local event organizers and restaurants are getting in on the holiday festivities. Check out the Easter adventures and restaurants offering special menus.

Easter Events Around The Bend

Bunny Photo Experience at University Park Mall 

Strike a pose — the Easter bunny is at the mall from March 30-April 8 for photos. Come through the entrance near Pat's Pets or JC Penney for the easiest visit. 

Eggstravaganza at Central Park

Crossroad Community Church invites you to the 2023 Easter Eggstravaganza at Mishawaka's Central Park. Free for the community, it will include bounce houses, food, face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny. The egg hunts begin at 11:30 a.m., noon and 12:30 p.m.

Dia Del Mercado with the Easter Bunny

La Casa de Amistad hosts Dia del Mercado from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, April 1 with crafts, food from the Rico Suave food truck, raffles, kids games and photo ops with the Easter Bunny.

Spring Craft Show & Easter Bunny Visit 

Hop on over to the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds on from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 8 for some Easter fun. Admission is FREE but donations are appreciated. Concessions will be available along with crafters and vendors. Bring the family to visit the Easter bunny! 

Easter at Newton Park 

Head over to Newton Park in Lakeville for a free family event. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 8 and kids will be put into age groups to collect the some 20,000 eggs spread across two soccer fields. The buzzer sounds at 9 a.m. sharp to begin the egg hunt! There will also be kids crafts, cookie decorating, face painting and more.

Easter "O" Hunt at St. Patrick's County Park 

Recommended for children 6 years old and up, this fun family challenge from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, April 9 explores St. Patrick's County park in search of Easter eggs with maps in hand. Afterward, turn the eggs in for candy. Registration and payment required by April 4.

South Bend Farmers Market Easter Activities 

Head to the Farmers Market on April 8 for a day full of Easter activities. A Ukrainian egg decorating demonstration will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m; a live bunny will be on hand from 9-11 a.m. and kids can join an Easter egg hunt from noon until 1 p.m.
