There's something new in South Bend this year: The Howard Holiday Market.
Local makers, entrepreneurs and artists are gathering at Howard Park over three weekends in November and December to offer shoppers their unique goods. This free, family friendly event will also include live entertainment, local food vendors and even some adult beverages for purchase.
Visitors can also enjoy the atmosphere in Howard Park as The Bend prepares for winter: Skating on the ice trail, fire pits and lights throughout the park.

The market is scheduled to take place Nov. 26-28, Dec. 3-5 and Dec. 10-12. Hours are as follows:
- Fridays: 5-8 p.m.
- Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sundays: 1-4 p.m.
Vendors at the Market
Upwards of 50 vendors will set up shop at the Holiday Market over its three weekends. But keep in mind, they won't all be the same every week — so you'll want to visit multiple times to check out all the local makers and their unique products. Many of them are featured in the gallery below. Browse the photos to get an idea of some vendors scheduled to take part in the market!
Walk the market and you're sure to spot the heated igloos across the park. These festive opportunities to hang out with friends and family are available for rent! Each two-hour reservation includes complimentary beverages, a Howard Park Blanket and a Holiday Market reusable bag, plus discounted admission to skating. Igloos are ideal for up to six guests.
