A Special Celebration: The Next Chapter of Contra Dancing

Come out for an evening of dancing fun! No experience necessary, all ages welcome!

Please join us on Friday, April 24th for a special celebration. It will be a night of music, dancing, shared memories, refreshments, and a celebration of the community we’ve built together.

Since 2013, Riverrun country dance band has had the honor of being the management and house band for South Bend Contra Dance. Looking back, the years have provided us many happy memories of playing for and dancing with all of you. As a river runs through time, so do we. After our April 24th dance, Riverrun will be stepping back from being the house band and organizing committee.

The good news? The music isn't stopping. We plan to play for South Bend dances next season, once in the fall and once in the spring. We encourage each of you to bring your energy and leadership to bear to help South Bend Contra Dance grow and thrive.
