April South Bend Green Drinks

Join us Tuesday, April 21st, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Cultivate Food Rescue at 1403 Prairie Avenue, South Bend. "No Neighbor Hungry, No Food Wasted." This is the vision at Cultivate Food Rescue as we work to reduce hunger and food waste in northern Indiana by recovering excess, quality food and redistributing it to school children, food pantries, shelters,and more. Did you know that food waste is the single largest component of U.S. landfills, contributing up to 8% of ALL global emissions?

Learn how Cultivate plays a part in reducing greenhouse gas emissions through food rescue, solar energy, composting, animal feed programs, and native landscaping.

South Bend Brew Werks will be serving a special Cultivate beer made with rescued cherries throughout the month of April, with a portion of

proceeds benefiting Cultivate's mission.
