Seminar: Building a Trauma-Informed Ministry

Hyatt Place, Mishawaka 215 W Day Rd. Mishawaka, IN 46544 (219) 730-1892

Overview

Many churches want to care well for hurting people, but good intentions alone are not enough to build wise ministry.

“Building a Trauma-Informed Ministry: Practical Steps for Pastors, Ministry Leaders, and Teams” is an evening seminar designed to help churches think through what it actually looks like to begin shaping leadership, culture, and ministry practices in ways that better serve people impacted by trauma.

This seminar is especially relevant for pastors, ministry leaders, children’s and youth ministry leaders, small group leaders, counseling and care teams, deacons, and others helping shape how care is expressed within the church.

The seminar is focused less on personal ministry to trauma survivors and more on how churches and ministries can begin taking practical steps toward becoming more trauma-informed over time.

Attending with 1–2 others from your church or ministry team is encouraged when possible.
