Century Center Convention Center
Overview
The Century Center Convention Center, a SMG managed facility, is located on the Saint Joseph River in the heart of Downtown South Bend and minutes away from the University of Notre Dame. The facility boasts 75,000 square feet of usable event space comprised of two convention halls, one 25,000 square feet and the other 12,000 square feet; the 16,000 square foot Great Hall with a remarkable view of the Saint Joseph River through a 30' glass wall; a total of 18 event suites including four which make up the White Water Ballroom; and two theaters, the 166 seat Recital Hall and 700 seat Bendix Theatre.
Century Center anchors the Downtown Convention District which includes the attached 291-room DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend, 140-room Courtyard by Marriott directly across the street and 187-room Aloft two blocks west. Downtown also includes numerous attractions including the Morris Performing Arts Center, South Bend Civic Theatre, Studebaker National Museum and The History Museum. Within walking distance of the facility are over 40 dining and entertainment options ranging from casual to fine dining, coffee shops and late night spots offering a diverse variety of entertainment from conversation to live music.
Convention services include professional event management services, in-house food and beverage services, including Kosher prep area, provided by SAVOR, full on-site media services including high-speed and WiFi internet access, an in-house marketing agency, entertainment and decorator referral services and more.
