The Link trail connects the University of Notre Dame to the heart of Downtown South Bend. Starting with the Golden Dome at your back, hop on the trail at the corner of Angela Boulevard and Notre Dame Avenue to experience the newest addition of connectivity in South Bend. This dedicated running, walking and biking trail will help make the short 1.5 mile distance to downtown South Bend more enjoyable as you arrive in the East Bank Village. Starting from downtown, the trail will run along LaSalle Avenue east of the St. Joseph River, head north on Hill Street, northeast on South Bend Avenue and north on Notre Dame Avenue, ending at Angela Boulevard. Keep an eye out for art installations and pop-up programming as you make your way along the well-lit path.
