Spicer Lake Nature Preserve
Overview
320 acres. This state-dedicated nature preserve features kettle-hole lakes and wetlands abundant with rich plant life. Several state endangered plants and animals live here. Over 6 miles of trails and a quarter-mile boardwalk are ideal for bird watching and nature study. Interpretive programs for schools are offered as well. Hours vary, see website or call 574-674-9765.
