Overview
Join us in celebrating the Day of the Dead in partnership with Adelante ND and Campus Dining. Día de los Muertos is a day of celebration for people in Latin America, particularly in Mexico and Central America, as well as our current community of Mexican-Americans. They choose to commemorate the lives of the dearly departed and welcome the return of their spirits through food, drink and celebration. We will have an altar dedication, ofrenda, to honor the departed and it will be created by members of NDFSID and Adelante ND. Thanks to our partnership with Campus Dining, a specially crafted menu will be served. All are welcome! An agenda for the event is coming soon, but you can look forward to fun activities like face-painting and a flower-making craft! We'll also feature a special Ballet Folklorico performance by the students of Folklorico Azul y Oro at 12:30 p.m. Entry Details: Staff members will need to use their complimentary dining hall pass to enter. Faculty members wishing to attend should email Adelante ND so we can cover the cost.
