Kick off summer June 13 with a downtown South Bend block party with dining in the street, beloved storybook character actors, face painters, a balloon artist, vendors, and a Studebaker Car Show. (This event was scheduled for June 5, and rescheduled due to inclement weather)

Rebel Art Fest
Rebel Art Fest 2026 is going to take place Sunday, June 7 from 12-8pm at Potawatomi Park for its 11th year. In addition to showcasing cool local artists and makers, they always have a killer line up of music, food trucks from around the region, and more. The festival is free to attend for guests.

Visit the Potawatomi Zoo
Potawatomi Zoo's summer hours begin and Zoo Luminate continues to brighten the night! The Zoo is a family favorite with hundreds of animals to visit. Feeding the giraffes is an unforgettable experience! Experience Zoo Luminate which brings more than 60 lantern displays to life. The lanterns will only be on display from 7-11 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays until June 28, so don't miss out!

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!
He earned his stripes on Broadway…now the ghost-with-the-most is coming to South Bend. June 19-21 catch a screemingly good time with Beetlejuice the Morris Performing Arts Center.
Leeper Park Art Fair
One of the finest art shows in the Midwest returns June 20-21 to Leeper Park in South Bend for its 59th year. Over 100 artists from around the country will line the paths to showcase and sell their work at the Leeper Park Art Fair. Not only is the event free, there will be music and food trucks as well.
