32132 State Rd 2 New Carlisle, IN 46552 (574) 654-3155

Overview

195 acres. Featuring one of the best spring woodland wildflower displays in the region, this park is also home to the annual Sugar Camp Days Festival the third weekend in March. Rentable picnic shelters, hiking trails, mountain bike trail, interpretive programs, and a large playground make this a popular destination for families. Tractor-drawn hayrides are a perfect fall outing for clubs, churches and schools. Formerly part of the Studebaker complex, the original Clubhouse is now a nature center and office building and is on the National Historic Registry. Also on the Registry is the world-famous Studebaker pine tree sign, planted in the 1930s by the CCC.
