Joyce Athletic and Convocation Center
Overview
Designed by Ellerbe Architects of St. Paul, Minnesota, the Joyce Center has 464,800 square feet of usable floor area and features two distinctive domes covered with white vinyl roofing material stretched over steel ribbing. The upstairs concourse houses a mini-museum for Notre Dame sports memorabilia developed by the Notre Dame National Monogram Club. Glass cases hold a variety of trophies, plaques, pennants and other memorabilia from Notre Dame’s illustrious athletic past. The Joyce Center offers nine meeting rooms with capacities from 25 to 10,000, complete in-house banquet and concession services, on-campus accommodations and on-site parking for over 3000 cars.
