The St. Joseph County 4-H Fair is a summertime tradition that brings together the best of community spirit, youth creativity, and classic fair fun. For over a century, shows, animals, rides, fair food and fun exhibits provide something for everyone. With its welcoming atmosphere and deep local roots, the St. Joseph County 4-H Fair continues to be a beloved celebration of agriculture, learning, and hometown pride.
St. Joseph County Fairgrounds
Perfect for large events, shows and outdoor concerts, the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds are located on the south side of South Bend, conveniently close to U.S. 31 and the U.S. 31/U.S. 20 Bypass. Several buildings are available for exhibits including the 23,000 square foot Commercial Exhibit Hall and the 16,000 square foot 4-H Exhibit Hall, plus three kitchen-equipped buildings for meetings and banquets to accommodate up to 200. The covered 3,000 seat grandstand features a 60 foot x 46 foot stage. The Fairgrounds are situated on 87 beautiful acres and include campground facilities as well as over 40 acres for parking.
Camping at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds
Seasonal camping at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds is offered April through November with over 75 temporary sites. Camping is also available during special events at the fair. Services include electric, water and sewer/dump station plus modern restrooms and showers. More information.
