Mystery at the Mansion: Stars, Stripes, and Secrets

Join us for a dramatic evening of intrigue and excitement at this year’s Mystery at the Mansion! "Stars, Stripes, & Secrets" is themed around America’s 250th anniversary and will ask you, the audience, to determine the criminal in possession of the stolen Bill of Rights!

Near the end of the Civil War, Union soldiers stole a copy of the Bill of Rights, and for over a century, it was missing... until now! The year is 1976 - America’s Bicentennial - and the director of The History Museum, Jim Sullivan, is contacted by a mysterious individual who wants to sell the stolen Bill of Rights!

With the help of the FBI and Gertrude Oliver Cunningham, Jim Sullivan sets up a Bicentennial Ball at Copshaholm as a sting operation to catch the culprit in the act. But when the sale goes wrong, all the ball attendees suddenly become suspects. Inspired by real events, this is one mystery you won’t want to miss!

Tickets are $25/general and $20/members. Reservations are strongly recommended. First tour leaves at 5:30 p.m., last tour leaves at 8 p.m. Tours are every 15 minutes, and each tour time can accommodate 2 groups of 12.
