In May 1940, Europe teeters on the edge of war. Within Brussels' iconic Flagey building, which was the vibrant center of national Belgian radio, two lives unexpectedly converge. Elza (Femke Vanhove), a young actress stepping into radio drama for the first time, crosses paths with Berre (Jef Hellemans), a talented sound engineer with an almost uncanny ear. She is drawn into the enchantment of storytelling, while he finds solace in the evocative power of sound. Their meeting sparks a love that persists even as the darkness of their era begins enveloping them.
