Potato Creek State Park, a beautiful park with 327-acre Worster Lake at its center, is a perfect place to take a dip on a hot summer day with its beach and boating options. Outdoor enthusiasts can kayak, hike, bike and more. Fishing lovers can drop a line in the water in hopes of snagging a bass or bluegill. The park is also a premier birding destination and offers great camping options.

Walkerton, Indiana
Fishing, golf and other outdoor activities abound in Walkerton, a small community at the southwest corner of St. Joseph County. Play a round at Whispering Pines Golf Course. This blue-collar course is nestled on 110 acres of slightly rolling land. Weather permitting, Whispering Pines is open year-round.
