Michiana VegFest is a vibrant and FREE vegan food festival, organized by a team of dedicated volunteers to highlight the ethical, health, and environmental advantages of a plant-based lifestyle.
At this year’s event, attendees can look forward to:
- Cooking demonstrations by both local and nationally renowned chefs.
- Delicious food offerings, including free samples from a diverse range of local and regional vendors.
- Engaging lectures by prominent authors and health experts, shedding light on:
- The environmental impact of animal agriculture.
- The extensive health benefits of adopting a plant-based diet.
- Ethical concerns tied to the meat and dairy industries.
- Close to 100 vendors and exhibitors showcasing vegan-friendly products, services, and organizations.
- A dynamic, interactive Kids’ Corner, designed to entertain and educate children.
- Live music to create a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Our festival warmly welcomes everyone from southwestern Michigan, northern Indiana, and beyond, including students from nearby colleges. Michiana VegFest also strongly supports local vegan-friendly businesses and organizations.
Through its VegEDU program, the festival extends its mission year-round, offering educational opportunities on health and environmental topics to the broader community.
