Day 1
Afternoon round at Warren Golf Course
Start your trip at South Bend's top public course. Warren Golf Course is a Coore and Crenshaw design just north of Notre Dame's campus. You can sneak a view of the Golden Dome from the 250-acre property that's home to the Fighting Irish golf teams and hosted the 2019 U.S. Senior Open.
Dinner at Rocco's Restaurant
Rocco's is a longtime South Bend institution a few minutes south of Notre Dame with deep connections to the university. It's considered by locals one of the best pizza spots in the area and is just a short drive from Warren.

Drinks at Brothers Bar + Grill
Unwind after your first day atBrothers Bar + Grill, another spot near campus. It has a large patio for relaxing outdoors, a long tap list for beer enthusiasts and a lengthy menu.

Day 2
Grab breakfast at The South Bend Chocolate Cafe or South Bend Farms
You're headed to the course, so no need to sit down for breakfast. Instead pop into the South Bend Chocolate Cafe downtown or the new location inside of the Indiana Dinosaur Museum. Right next door to this location is South Bend Farms, where you can find Studebagels inside.
Morning round at Blackthorn Golf Club
It's time for a full-on golf day. Kick things off with an early round at Blackthorn Golf Club, which every year hosts a Symetra Tour event for rising stars seeking to make the LPGA Tour. Wide but undulating fairways make for a challenging yet approachable setup. Although no longer city owned, Golf Week Magazine in 2013 rated Blackthorn the top municipal course in Indiana.
Lunch at Bob's 19th Hole
Something of a hidden gem, residents on South Bend's west side know all about Bob's 19th Hole. Order the Philly cheesesteak over rice and the server might just think you're a regular.
Afternoon round at Elbel Park Golf Course
They don't call Elbel Park "nature's golf course" for nothing. Elbel is tucked away in a pristine natural area, dotted with wetlands and Mud Lake as its centerpiece. You're just as likely to spot deer or sandhill cranes as you are to make a great shot (we hope there are many of both). It's particularly beautiful at sunset.
Dinner at The Lauber Kitchen & Bar
Head to downtown South Bend's East Bank Village for dinner at The Lauber Kitchen & Bar, where you can order artisan pizzas or signature handhelds. Maybe some tin can nachos? Wash it down with one of their 24 beers on draft, or try a signature cocktail.
Drinks at South Bend Brew Werks
Brew Werks cultivates a community vibe to go along with a rotating tap list of beers brewed in house. If you're looking for something a little different, wander over to The Exchange Whiskey Bar or the Hideaway at The LaSalle for a cocktail-forward experience.
Day 3
Morning round at Erskine Park Golf Course
Still up for a little more golf? Tack on an extra day before heading out and wrap up the weekend at Erskine Park Golf Course, a historic South Bend municipal. Golf legend Arnold Palmer played the course in 1961, shooting a 1-under par 34 on the back nine. Gear up for No. 10 — a 600-plus yard par 5 that requires your best game to make par.
Lunch at Fiddler's Hearth
Before you head out, it's best to fuel up. Fiddler's Hearth is an authentic pub and a great place to wind down before heading home. Order the fish and chips. Trust us.
