Boo Bash

Enjoy a fun trunk-or-treat, haunted house, petting zoo, food vendors, an artisan market, and other activities for all ages.
Zoo Boo
Dates: October 16-18 and 23-25, 2026

Location: Potawatomi Zoo | 500 S. Greenlawn Ave.
An annual favorite, Zoo Boo, is back this year and offers the opportunity to trick-or-treat through Potawatomi Zoo while it is decked out for the holiday. It even has a haunted train and enchanted carousel rides.
Treats on the Trail

This free trick-or-treating event will be fun for the whole community. Come out in our costumes and collect candy from local businesses and organizations.
Halloween Haunt

Location: Z.B. Falcons Conservation Club | 22731 Roosevelt Rd
The ZB Falcons Conservation Club’s Halloween Haunt will have family-friendly games, free food, trunk-or-treating, and a haunted hayride.
Newton Park Trunk-or-Treat

Location: Newton Park | 801 N Michigan Street
This free community trunk-or-treat provides an inclusive, food-allergy-friendly experience in partnership with the Teal Pumpkin Project.
Cops & Goblins
Date: Tuesday, October 20, 2026
Time: 5-7:30pm
Location: Four Winds Field | 501 W South St
Families can enjoy a fun, safe, and free trick-or-treating experience featuring treat tables from more than 100 local businesses and organizations. Free tickets will be released next month; details will be announced on social media.

Location: Mishawaka Riverwalk | 483 N Main St
Enjoy a community trick-or-treating experience with more than 80 local businesses participating along the Mishawaka Riverwalk. Music, inflatables, and games will also be available.
Spooktacular Westside Haunted Trail

This free, open-to-all community event features games, crafts, live music, and a spooky trail through the garden.

It doesn't feel quite like fall without a visit to the pumpkin patch. Find your perfect pumpkin at one of these local pumpkin patches:
Thistleberry Farm
Location: 61391 Mayflower Rd
A South Bend favorite for fall family fun, Thistleberry Farm features pumpkins, a corn maze, photo ops, farm animals, pony rides, and more kid-friendly activities.
Matthys Farm Market
Location: 57754 Crumstown Hwy
Enjoy hayrides, a corn maze, and a pick-your-own pumpkin patch. There’s also a petting zoo and concession stand with all of your favorite fall treats.
Pumpkin Patch at the Zoo

Enjoy the 2026 Pumpkin Patch at the Potawatomi Zoo! Guests who purchase a ticket to the pumpkin patch will receive a small pumpkin, a snack, and a train ticket, plus access to games, photo opportunities, and festive activities.
Scream Parks
To kick off your Halloween weekend, be ready to scream! Two great (and horrifying) scream parks will have you checking under your bed for monsters and sleeping with one eye open at night.
Niles Scream Park
