Notre Dame in the Winter
One of the most spectaular views of the Golden Dome comes when it's highlighted by the surrounding snow of winter. Football season winds down and the spotlight grows on Notre Dame women's and men's basketball in Purcell Pavilion. Notre Dame hockey also takes center ice at Compton Family Ice Arena. Cheer on the Irish and take a stroll around the winter wonderland campus becomes as snow falls on the iconic landmarks. You will also find Christmas trees and decorations around every corner in December. Christmas mass at the Basilica is truly special. Don't forget the Grotto at midnight.
Notre Dame in the Spring
As Notre Dame campus comes into bloom in the spring, you'll find tulips everywhere. All different colors and configurations. The most beautiful of all are the rows of tulips that line the path to the Grotto. The promise of warmer weather and renewal along with the Easter season on campus provide quite the special experience. Spring sports are in full swing and football's Blue Gold Game takes place in April, making us very excited for fall (though we're not rushing summer through too quickly). Notre Dame's spring commencement and Rally Weekend are exciting weekends to look forward to in The Bend!

Notre Dame in the Summer
Campus is a little quieter and still so beautiful in the summer. It's a great time to go for a walk or run around St. Joseph's Lake or catch a stunning sunset against the Golden Dome on a late summer night. There truly is never a bad time to be on campus.
