Attend the Blue-Gold Game
Football season isn't only for the fall. Notre Dame hosts its annual Blue-Gold Game at 1 p.m. April 23, offering a chance to preview the team before it takes the field next season.
Watch South Bend Cubs Baseball
Baseball is back at one of the country's best Minor League stadiums. The Cubs open April 8 at Four Winds Field and play several home games during the first month of the season. You can expect fun for the whole family, delicious food and great promotions.
Visit the Museum District
The History Museum and Studebaker National Museum both recently opened new exhibits. "Unveiled: Wedding Traditions" is on display at The History Museum, taking a detailed look at weddings across cultures and through history. "Charged: The Rise, Fall and Resurgence of EVs" at Studebaker showcases the origins and evolution of electric vehicles dating back much longer than you'd think.
Meet the Giraffes
Potawatomi Zoo opened for the season April 1 with some new, popular residents: giraffes! Four giraffes arrived at the zoo earlier this year and now you can meet them at their state-of-the-art facility.
Experience Broadway in The Bend
Theater lovers should grab tickets for "Waitress," which is making a four-show visit to the Morris Performing Arts Center in downtown South Bend from April 8-10. Inspired by the film, it will be a delightful show.
Head Out for a Hike
As spring takes shape and The Bend comes into bloom, there's no better time to get outside. Some of our best hiking spots will be ready for your boots to hit the trail.
