July means summer has officially arrived. These are some of the things that should be on your to-do list this month.

Concours d'Elegance at Copshaholm

Car lovers and history buffs don't want to miss one of our marquee summer events. Classic automobiles from around the country will assemble on the grounds of the Oliver Mansion for the Concours d'Elegance at Copshaholm. It's a great opportunity to explore the museum campus.

Raft the East Race Waterway

There are few thrills like splashing down the whitewater rapids right in the heart of downtown South Bend. Open from early June through Labor Day, the East Race Waterway is a one-of-a-kind experience. Make sure to book your tickets in advance and get the scoop on everything you need to know before you go.

Shakespeare at Notre Dame

The Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival kicks off a series of events with multiple July performances. Shakespeare After Hours and ShakeScenes are much-loved community productions. The Touring Company will put on "All's Well that Ends Well" throughout the month.

Music in the Gardens

Live music returns to the Oliver Gardens (outside the Oliver Mansion and The History Museum) on July 29. A summer staple, there will be food and drink at this event along with tunes.

Watch South Bend Cubs Baseball

Baseball season is in full swing at one of the country's best Minor League stadiums. The Cubs play at Four Winds Field from June 7-12 and June 21-26. You can expect fun for the whole family, delicious food and great promotions like Thirsty Thursday and Fantastic Friday Fireworks.

St. Joseph County 4H Fair

It wouldn't be summer in The Bend without a visit to the St. Joseph County 4H Fair. Animals, fair food, games and rides on the midway await those looking for some family friendly fun.
